Scottish Gas Women’s Scottish Cup round two fixtures took place this weekend as twenty-four teams went toe-to-toe for a place in the next round of the competition.
Forfar and Inverurie both secured hard-fought wins after extra time, while Stenhousemuir led the goal celebrations with nine goals against Morton.
Dryburgh were also in prolific form, recording a commanding 7-0 win over Edinburgh South. Bonnyrigg matched that seven-goal tally, beating Inverness 7-1 to secure a comprehensive victory.
Stirling University edged East Fife in a competitive encounter, coming away with a 3-2 win while Cambusdoon also progressed with a convincing 4-1 win over Dalkeith. Elgin recorded one of the most comfortable results of the round, defeating Stoneywood Parkvale 6-0 away from home.
Bishopton enjoyed a strong afternoon, beating Jeanfield Swifts 5-1 to advance to the next stage. Dunipace and Arbroath served up another close contest, with Dunipace eventually emerging as 4-3 winners.
Rossvale, meanwhile, recorded a solid 4-0 victory over Shetland, while Westdyke defeated Airdrie 3-1 to round off the latest round of results.

The draw for the third round of the competition will take place at Barclays Hampden on Monday, 12 October. Twelve winners from round two will go into the draw with twenty teams who will enter from the SWPL.
