Scottish FA Head of Refereeing Willie Collum has concluded the Referee Operations Department's pre-season briefing sessions by holding the first supporters' briefing at Barclays Hampden.
Organised in conjunction with the Scottish Football Union (SFU), the forum saw Collum meet with supporters from a host of different clubs around Scotland, including Celtic, Dunfermline Athletic, Glasgow City, Hamilton Academical, Kilmarnock, Motherwell Rangers and St Johnstone.
As well as members of the SFU, representatives from Association of Tartan Army Clubs and Supporters Direct Scotland were also in attendance.
Collum took the opportunity to run through the latest changes to IFAB's Laws of the Game, while also running through a series of clips from last season and answering questions from the supporters.
That was the final presentation to end a busy pre-season period for the Referee Operations Department in which the same presentation was also shared with all 12 SPFL Premiership clubs and all 10 SWPL1 sides during individual club visits. A series of league-wide briefings were also conducted in the leagues below the top flight, while broadcasters and media were also invited to the National Stadium for an event last week as well.
