The Scottish Gas Men's Scottish Cup continued on Saturday as 40 teams battled for a place in the third and final Preliminary Round.

Preliminary Round Two saw 93 goals fly in as 20 sides booked their place in Monday evening's Preliminary Round Three Draw.

Blackburn United were the biggest winners of the day, with Andy Jones and Richie Hutton both bagging hat-tricks as they put 10 past St Cuthbert Wanderers.

There were also two hat-tricks for Prelim Round One entrants Penicuik Athletic, as Max McGinley and Daryl Healy completed the feat in their side's 9-2 victory at home to Golspie Sutherland.

Of the other sides who entered in the Preliminary Round, Stonehaven, Dundee North End and St Andrew's United were also victorious, though Whitletts Victoria were defeated by Camelon Juniors.

Of the 20 ties, only won went the distance, with Irvine Meadow XI edging out Edinburgh University.
