Scotland Women’s Under-17 squad named for Germany double-header

Michael Tuohy has named his squad ahead of the upcoming international friendly matches against Germany.

The double-header will take place at Broadwood ahead of round one European qualifiers in October.

The young team retained their ‘League A’ status for another cycle following victories over Switzerland and Greece earlier this year, narrowly missing out on this summer’s EURO finals after finishing second in the group behind Norway.

Next month’s European Championship qualifiers kick off against Finland, Romania and Ukraine with the round one mini-tournament hosted in Scotland.

Making the step up to Under-17s, Ellie Harkin, Lucy Horberry and Marcie Kane get the nod whilst Lucia McIntyre, Alex Campbell and former Developing Talent Centre player, Marley Harrow, all make their international squad debut.
