Scotland host Azerbaijan in Kilmarnock for the first time since 2008 on 30 September, before travelling to Bulgaria to conclude the campaign at Georgi Benkovski Stadium in Pazardijk on 6 October. We also see a number of players stepping up from the Under-19s level as Daniel Armer of Manchester United, Sam Chambers of Leeds United (on loan to Northampton Town) and Bobby Wales of Swansea City (on loan to Dundee) will be looking to make an impact at Under-21 level. While Tyler Fletcher makes a return to the squad having impressed at senior level and Kyle Glasgow makes the step up to 21s level for the first time. The young Rangers man has made his mark at Alloa Athletic utilising the co-operative loan system to net 3 goals and 1 assist so far, aged just 16 years old.
