Scotland Head Coach Sébastien Pocognoli made three changes to the side that drew to Slovenia on Saturday. Stephen Welsh, Aaron Hickey and Robbie Ure were replaced by Kieron Bowie, Nathan Patterson anddebutant Luis Binks.

The opening five minutes were positive for Scotland as the heavily attacking high press put a lot of pressure on the Swiss.
In the eighth minute, Switzerland's Dan Ndoye made his way deep into the Scottish half where he was deemed to have been brought down by covering Scotland defender Jack Hendry.
Following a lengthy VAR check, the foul was ruled to be outside of the box, with the Swiss awarded a free kick instead of the originally awarded penalty.
Due to the VAR correction, Hendry’s yellow card was subsequently upgraded to a red card.
It went from bad to worse for Scotland moments later as Ricardo Rodriguez curled the resulting free-kick into the top left corner of Angus Gunn’s goal to put the visitors ahead early.
This urged Pocognoili to make his first substitution, with Welsh replacing the unfortunate Bowie.
Despite being a player down, Scotland created multiple chances in and around the box, with one particular Gilmour ball finding Andy Robertson, whose dangerous cross was forced behind as Scotland forced a succession of corners.
In a tense final few moments of the half, Luis Binks was shown a yellow card following a foul on Remo Freuler in the 44th minute, while Pocognoli was also shown a yellow card himself for his protests.
In the opening moments of the second half, the Swiss created multiple chances and in the 55th minute Switzerland scored their second goal.
Following a corner, Ndoye travelled down the right side of the box and crossed the ball to Nico Elvedi who slid the ball home, despite efforts from Binks. Just before the hour mark, Scotland made a triple substitution to bring on some fresh legs.
Ben Gannon-Doak, Ryan Christie and Robbie Ure made their way onto the pitch to replace Patterson, Gilmour and Oli McBurnie.
A solid save from from Gunn in the 66th minute denied the Swiss another goal and in the 71st minute he made another fantastic save in the bottom right corner as the Swiss continued to attack.
Scotland then conceded a free kick outside of the box in the 72nd minute and Stephen Welsh received a yellow card for the foul, although Zeki Amdouni failed to find the net this time, sending the ball over the bar.
However, in the 82nd minute, Amdouni did make it 3-0 to Switzerland with a powerful strike high into the net.
Scotland showed brief moments of attacking play late into the match and in the 83rd minute John McGinn did well to travel down the left wing however his attempted cross was intercepted by the Swiss defence. The full time whistle brought to an end a night to forget for Scotland, although the early red card clearly had a major impact.
