Having joined the Dundee academy from St Johnstone, Luke Graham put in his fair share of hard yards before breaking through at Dens Park.
A shining light to other young players, Graham gained experience on loan throughout the pyramid: with Lochee United in the Midlands League, with Albion Rovers in League Two, Montrose in League One and Falkirk in the Championship.
After making the odd Dundee appearance, Graham then cemented his position in the Dundee backline in the 2025/2026 season and his performances attracted a number of suitors.
Stoke City eventually won the race to sign the centre back for an undisclosed fee and Graham went straight into the starting XI at The Potters.
Graham also had to wait for his opportunity at international level, eventually making his Scotland debut with the Under-21s in March 2025 against the Republic of Ireland in Spain.
He would become a regular for the Under-21s during the following campaign and, along with Colby Donovan, Robbie Ure and James Wilson, he was promoted to the senior squad in September 2026 by new Head Coach Sebastien Pocognoli.
