A product of the Scottish FA JD Performance Schools, Jon McCracken came through the Hamilton Academical youth set-up before moving into the Norwich academy.
He would remain with Norwich for eight seasons, without making an appearance, though he would enjoy productive loan spells at Accrington Stanley, Bohemians, Dundee and Stevenage.
He then made a permanent move to Dens Park in 2024 and established himself as number one there.
Since that move, he has been involved with the Scotland squad on several occasions and he was recalled in September 2026 by new manager Sebastien Pocognoli after impressing since moving to Bradford City.
A cap at Under-17 level, McCracken will be hoping to earn a first senior cap in the near future.
