The Scottish Gas Women's Scottish Cup was back on Sunday as the first Preliminary Round saw nine matches take place across the country.

There were comfortable wins for Musselburgh Windsor, Penicuik Athletic Women and Linlithgow Rose CFC Ladies over Ardrossan Winton Rovers, Blairgowrie WFC and Dumbarton FC.

Alloa Athletic defeated Grampian Ladies 7-5 in the day's highest scoring game.

There were also victories for Jeanfield Swifts, Stoneywood Parkvale FC, Arbroath FC Women, Edinburgh Caledonia and Thornton Hibs Ladies.

The nine sides who progressed will now compete in Prelim Round Two, joining the 15 sides who received byes in the draw.

Benburb's match with Harmony Row was postponed, while Stewarton Annick Ladies travel north to face Shetland Women on Sunday to complete the First Preliminary Round.
